Sophie undertakes all aspects of family law work but particularly specialises in children cases and is experienced in representing parents in both private law children disputes as well as public law care proceedings. She frequently undertakes her own advocacy.
Sophie is known for her sensitive and supportive approach and works hard at fostering good working relationships with clients. She is known for going the extra mile to ensure the best outcome possible for them.
Sophie has provided pro bono services at domestic violence drop in centres and is well experienced in domestic violence cases.
Sophie deals with a mixture of privately paying and publicly funded matters and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives and Resolution, so therefore strives to conduct matters in a constructive and non-confrontational way. Sophie has worked in family law since 2011, before qualifying as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2016.
Outside of work Sophie enjoys spending time with friends and family, live music, cooking and eating out.
