Karol initially trained to become a Barrister in 2005, and cross qualified as a Solicitor and became a Criminal Law Higher Courts Advocate in 2011.
He joined Freemans Solicitors during June 2013 and specialises in all areas of criminal law, but deals mainly with Trial Advocacy in the Magistrates Court, and more recently in the Crown Court. Prior to joining Freemans, Karol worked for a firm in East London, mainly litigating on more serious Criminal Law cases with offences including Murder, serious violence, sex offences and high value Fraud. Karol worked as a Police Station Advisor and has also vast experience attending all forms of PACE interviews including with the DWP and Trading Standards. He worked, as part of team of fee earners, on R v S described as “Britain’s biggest ever Visa scam”.
