Andriana joined Freemans in October 2015 as an Assistant Solicitor in the Family Department.
Andriana Syrimis specialises in assisting individuals on a wide range of family law issues. These include Public Law proceedings, dealing with complex issues to involve non-accidental injury, factitious illness, psychological and psychiatric disorders, sexual abuse, Wardship applications involving jurisdictional and international law and Article 15 transfer arguments. Andriana also represents parents and other family members in Private Law Children Act Matters to include Child Arrangements Orders, Prohibited Steps Orders and applications for removal from the jurisdiction.
Andriana also deals with Divorce, separation and family finances and is therefore able to offer clients a broad range of advice and provide a holistic service for families caught in the most difficult circumstances.
Andriana deals with a mixture of private and publicly funded matters and frequently undertakes her own advocacy. She is seen by her clients as committed and has an ability to see the bigger picture. As a member of Resolution, Andriana strives to conduct matters in a constructive and non-confrontational way.
Andriana graduated with a 2:1 Honours Degree from Queen Mary University in 2009 and went on to successfully complete her post graduate studies at the College of Law in London in 2010 with a Distinction. Andriana has completed her training in the area of Family Law and was admitted as a solicitor in October 2013.
