When considering the public interest in deportation, should a Court or Tribunal take into account parental misconduct when assessing whether the effect of deportation on a child is "unduly harsh"?

That is the issue that the Supreme Court is set to consider next week in a the case of KO (Nigeria) (Appellant) v Secretary of State for the Home Department  (Respondent) brought by Freemans Immigration Department together with Leading Counsel Ian Macdonald QC, Sonali Naik QC and Helen Foot of Garden Court Chambers.
